Emad Al Ablani

Emad Ahmad Al-Ablan is a distinguished HR leader with a career spanning over two decades. He joined the National Bank of Kuwait (NBK) in 2003 as Manager of Recruitment and steadily rose through the ranks. As of February 1, 2025, he has been appointed Group Chief Human Resources Officer, reporting directly to the CEO. Beyond HR, he plays a key role in NBK’s strategic decisions and serves on multiple committees. Emad is also actively involved in Kuwait’s financial and educational sectors. An alumnus of Harvard Business School and AUB, he continues to shape HR practices, earning recognition as a top industry leader. His contributions were further recognized when he received the HR Icon – Most Influential HR Leaders from the Middle East award.
