Arwa Alhamad

Arwa Alhamad is a Data & Cybersecurity Executive with over 16 years of experience, specializing in governance, risk, and compliance (GRC). She has successfully established five cybersecurity departments from the ground up across local and global organizations.

She has held leadership roles at renowned entities including Hevolution Foundation, Sanabil Investments, STC, STC Pay, the General Entertainment Authority, Tadawul, and Accenture.

Arwa holds a Master’s degree in Security in Computing from RMIT University (Australia) and a Global Executive MBA (GEMBA ’23) from INSEAD. She is also a graduate of the Misk 2030 Leaders Program. Her professional credentials include CISSP, CISM, GPEN, PMP, and certifications in ISO 27001, ISO 20000, and ISO 9001, alongside executive education from MIT Sloan and INSEAD.

As an active cybersecurity advocate, Arwa serves on the boards of startups, non-profits, and academic institutions, where she contributes to shaping the next generation of technology leaders.
