Mr. Rakan Alsharekh is a seasoned HR Professional with 17 years of experience in multiple specialized HR positions across diversified industries leading critical people agenda items across his career.

His experience is diversified between Financial, Safety & Security and Media Sectors.
Currently working as Chief Human Resources Officer at Alrajhi Capital.
Prior to that he was leading People and Administration Function within National Security Services Co. “SAFE” in the capacity of Chief Human Resources Officer.

Mr. Alsharekh was also the Chief Human Resources Officer at Saudi Research and Media Group “SRMG”.
Held several Human Capital positions at the Saudi Awwal Bank (SAB), focusing on total rewards management, organizational effectiveness, HR governance and organizational culture projects. He led the people integration function during the merger between SABB and Alawwal Bank.

Alsharekh graduated from the College of Industrial Management in King Fahad University of Petroleum and Minerals with a bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems. He is also certified with 3 internationally recognized certifications in Total Rewards and Remuneration from WorldatWork®, a leading global association for human resources management professionals.
